Forehead wrinkles

Forehead wrinkles result from repeated contraction of the frontalis muscle over years, combined with natural loss of collagen and elastin with age. Unprotected sun exposure accelerates this process. Over time, these expression lines become permanent, even at rest, forming deeper furrows that require specific treatment.

At Santé, we apply neuromodulators (botulinum toxin) as our primary protocol. This treatment relaxes the frontalis muscle responsible for wrinkles, softening existing lines and preventing new ones. Depending on your wrinkle pattern, we may combine it with hyaluronic acid in deep furrows for more natural and harmonious results.

With neuromodulators, initial results are visible between 3–7 days, reaching maximum effect at 2 weeks. A single session is sufficient. Results last 3–4 months, so we recommend maintenance treatment every 12–16 weeks to preserve forehead smoothness.

The procedure is virtually painless; we use very fine injection techniques. There is no downtime—you can resume activities immediately. Some patients notice mild redness that disappears within minutes. It's safe from age 25–30 as prevention, with no relevant contraindications in the general population.
