What does it involve?

Subcision is a minimally invasive medical technique that acts on the structural cause of cellulite: the fibrous bands that pull the skin downward and create dimples. Using a specific microneedle, the doctor releases these bands, smoothing the area from within its own anatomy and not just from the surface. It is indicated above all for moderate and severe cellulite on the buttocks and the back of the thighs.

What is the treatment like?

The session begins by marking the dimples one by one with the patient standing, in order to identify the true fibrous traction. Local anesthesia is applied and the microneedle is introduced into a controlled subcutaneous plane, releasing each band with fine movements. The procedure lasts between 45 and 60 minutes depending on the area and the number of dimples. After subcision, compression is recommended and, in many cases, complementary sessions of radiofrequency or INDIBA to enhance the remodeling.

Recovery and aftercare
