Description

Deep hydration treatment consisting of microinjections of low-density hyaluronic acid (non-crosslinked or lightly crosslinked) evenly distributed across the face, neck, décolletage, or hands. Unlike traditional fillers, it does not aim to add volume but to improve the intrinsic quality of the skin, providing hydration from within, stimulating collagen and elastin production, and improving elasticity, luminosity, and skin texture. Especially indicated for dehydrated skin, lack of firmness, fine lines, or early signs of aging. Results are progressive and optimized with 2-3 initial sessions (spaced 2-4 weeks apart) and maintenance every 4-6 months.

1Before Treatment

  • Discontinue anti-inflammatories, anticoagulants, and supplements that may increase bleeding (aspirin, ibuprofen, omega 3, vitamin E, ginkgo biloba) 5-7 days before, always consulting with your doctor if they are prescribed medications.
  • Avoid alcohol consumption 48-72 hours prior to reduce the risk of inflammation and bruising.
  • Do not undergo aggressive facial treatments (chemical peels, microdermabrasion, laser) in the 2 weeks prior.
  • Discontinue topical retinoids and acids (glycolic, salicylic) 3-5 days before to reduce skin sensitivity.
  • Maintain good hydration by drinking sufficient water in the days before.
  • Inform the professional about any allergies, especially to hyaluronic acid or local anesthetics.
  • Come without makeup on the area to be treated to facilitate asepsis.
  • If you have a history of herpes and the area to be treated includes the perioral region, consult about preventive medication.
  • Avoid intense sun exposure and tanning (natural or artificial) for 7-10 days prior.
  • Photograph the area to be treated to document the initial state and be able to compare results.

2After Treatment

  • It is normal to experience redness, small papules (similar to mosquito bites), and occasionally small bruises that disappear within 24-72 hours.
  • Apply cold compresses (not direct ice) for 10-15 minutes every hour for the first 4-6 hours if there is inflammation or discomfort.
  • Do not wash the treated area until 4-6 hours have passed; afterward use gentle cleansers without sulfates or alcohol.
  • Avoid makeup for 12-24 hours; when resumed, use non-comedogenic products and clean applicators.
  • Do not perform activities that cause excessive sweating, saunas, steam baths, or exposure to intense heat for 48-72 hours.
  • Avoid direct sun exposure for 7-10 days and use broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 50+) daily, reapplying every 2 hours if exposed.
  • Do not apply exfoliants (physical or chemical), retinoids, or acids for 5-7 days.
  • Keep skin well hydrated with products recommended by the professional.
  • Avoid deep facial massages or treatments that involve pressure on the area for 7-10 days.
  • Drink plenty of water during the following days to enhance the hydrating effect.
  • Follow the recommended session protocol for optimal and lasting results.
