What is Focused Ultrasound

Ultrasound is mechanical energy in the form of waves. In this treatment, these waves are focused: they are concentrated at very precise points located at different depths under the skin. At these points, controlled heat is generated, producing small areas of thermal stimulation, without damaging the skin surface.

The body responds to this stimulus by repairing the tissue, which involves producing new collagen and elastin. It is this newly formed collagen that, over time, redensifies the skin and improves its firmness.

Why Collagen is Key to Firmness

Collagen and elastin form the support network of the skin. When this network weakens — due to age, weight changes, or pregnancies — the skin loses tone and laxity appears.
