Poorly defined silhouette

About the Treatment

Poorly defined silhouette

Body contouring combines local fat reduction, skin-quality improvement and, in some cases, muscle tone gain. Each patient has a different mix of fat, muscle, retention and laxity, so the protocol is always personalised and iterative.

Who does it affect?

Patients with stable weight who feel their silhouette doesn't match their effort: after weight loss, pregnancies, or simply hormonal change over time. The body consultation sets the optimal strategy and sequence.

Help & Support

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does body contour lose definition and appear less sculpted?

Loss of definition occurs due to localized fat accumulation in areas such as flanks, abdomen, or double chin, which blurs the body's natural contours. Factors like slowed metabolism, hormonal changes, sedentary lifestyle, or aging promote this adipose redistribution. While diet and exercise are fundamental, certain fat deposits are genetically resistant and don't respond to these changes alone.

What treatment does Santé offer to restore body definition?

At Santé, we use cryolipolysis, a non-invasive technique that selectively destroys fat cells through controlled cooling. The procedure is painless, requires no anesthesia or incisions, and targets localized fat deposits in the abdomen, flanks, back, or double chin. Results are natural because the body gradually eliminates treated cells.

How many sessions do I need and when will I see results in my silhouette?

Generally, one session per area is sufficient, though some patients choose a second treatment to enhance results. Initial changes are visible between 3 and 4 weeks, with maximum effect around 2–3 months. Improvement is gradual and natural, without abrupt changes that reveal the treatment.

Does cryolipolysis hurt? Do I need to stop my normal activities afterward?

It doesn't hurt during treatment; some patients feel initial cold and mild pressure that disappear quickly. There's no downtime—you can resume activities immediately. Side effects are minimal (mild redness, temporary sensitivity). It's suitable from age 18. Consult our team if you have cold sensitivity or specific medical conditions.
