Nasolabial folds

Nasolabial folds form due to progressive loss of volume and elasticity in the mid-face area. Over time, natural collagen and hyaluronic acid production decreases, and gravity acts on the tissues. Repeated facial expressions—smiling, speaking—also deepen these lines. Factors like smoking, sun exposure, and genetics accelerate their appearance.

At Santé, we combine high-quality hyaluronic acid with Sculptra (polylactic acid), a collagen-inducing agent that stimulates natural tissue regeneration. Hyaluronic acid fills the fold immediately, while Sculptra works long-term, restoring lost volume. This dual protocol delivers natural, lasting results tailored to each patient's anatomy.

With hyaluronic acid, results are immediate after the session. Sculptra typically requires 2–3 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart, with progressive results optimized at 2–3 months. Full effects appear within 3–6 months. Each session lasts 20–30 minutes. Hyaluronic acid results last 9–12 months; Sculptra results last 18–24 months.

The procedure is very well-tolerated. We apply topical anesthesia and use a very fine needle, so discomfort is minimal. Mild redness and small bruises may occur, disappearing within 24–48 hours. There is no downtime—resume normal activities immediately. Avoid heavy makeup for the first 12 hours and massage the area for one week.
