Sunken under-eye circles result from volume loss in the infraorbital area due to fat descent and bone structure collapse with age. Dark circles stem from pigmentation, superficial blood vessels, and shadows cast by the depression. Genetic factors, poor sleep, dehydration, and stress intensify them. The periocular skin is very thin and loses elastin and collagen more rapidly than other facial areas.

At Santé, we combine volumizing hyaluronic acid to restore height and projection, facial polynucleotides to improve skin quality and luminosity, skinboosters for deep hydration, and rejuvenating laser that stimulates collagen and reduces pigmentation. The protocol is personalized by severity: severely marked circles require volume; predominant darkness requires depigmenting and firming treatments.

Hyaluronic acid shows immediate effect, improving within days. Polynucleotides require 3–4 monthly sessions to activate regeneration; visible results from the second session onward. Laser requires 3–5 sessions spaced 3–4 weeks apart. Skinboosters are applied in 2–3 sessions. Overall improvement consolidates within 2–3 months post-treatment.

Treatments are virtually painless; we use topical anesthesia. No significant downtime: mild redness may occur for 24–48 hours. We avoid treatment during active herpes, infections, or component allergies. Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. The periocular area requires expert technique.
