About the Treatment

Asymmetries

Facial volume depends on fat compartments, bone and ligaments. With age the deep fat shifts and drops, bone resorbs and ligaments loosen. The result is loss of projection, descent of tissues and loss of the highlights that frame the face.

Who does it affect?

It appears gradually from 35 onwards and accelerates after weight loss, multiple pregnancies or sustained stress. It is common in lean faces or fine bone structure, where the changes show earlier.

Help & Support

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I have asymmetrical lips?

Lip asymmetries are common and can result from genetic factors, natural mandibular asymmetry, uneven volume loss with age, or previous trauma. Habits like smoking and uneven sun exposure also play a role. At Santé, we evaluate your complete facial anatomy to understand the asymmetry's origin and design a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs.

How are lip asymmetries corrected at Santé?

We use next-generation hyaluronic acid in a precise microinjection protocol. Volume is strategically distributed to balance both sides while respecting your natural anatomy. The treatment is painless thanks to topical anesthesia and adapts to your ideal facial proportions. We perform a 3D assessment beforehand.

How many sessions do I need and when will I see results?

Results are visible immediately after the first session, though optimal effects appear at 7–10 days once initial swelling subsides. Many patients achieve complete correction in one session. If fine-tuning is needed, we schedule a second session at 2–3 weeks. Results last 9–12 months.

Does it hurt? Do I have to stop my normal activities?

The procedure is virtually painless. Downtime is minimal: you may notice slight swelling or small bruises for 24–48 hours. Avoid intense exercise and massage for 48 hours. There's no age restriction (legal adulthood required) and it's safe if you have no known allergies to hyaluronic acid components.
